Client Inspection for Iraq’s 120-Meter Floating Musical Fountain — Hilla Corniche Project

Optimum show received Iraq Clients  Dr. Fadhil for a factory inspection of the floating musical fountain equipment for the Hilla Corniche Project in Iraq. The visit focused on equipment quality, manufacturing workmanship, product packaging, and control cabinet testing, while also supporting work related to TÜV certification.

Measuring 120 meters long and 10 meters wide, the floating musical fountain is being developed for Hilla Corniche as part of an Iraqi government initiative to improve the riverfront landscape, expand leisure and entertainment opportunities, and create a new public space along the river. For Optimum Show, the project brings together fountain engineering, manufacturing quality, and the practical needs of an overseas waterfront development.

Within this setting, the 120-meter floating musical fountain is intended to become a distinctive visual feature. By combining moving water, colorful lighting, and music, it will add an entertainment element to the riverfront and help create an engaging evening atmosphere.

During his visit, Dr. Fadhil carefully inspected the principal fountain equipment, including dancing 1D&2D nozzles,  Submersible water pumps, and DMX 512 RGB lighting fixtures. These components work together to produce the visual performance of a musical fountain, and their quality is fundamental to the completed installation.

The inspection of the fountain nozzles focused on their manufacturing quality and workmanship. Nozzles shape the water effects seen by the audience, making their construction and consistency important to the overall presentation. Reviewing these components before shipment gives the client a direct understanding of the equipment being prepared for the project.

Submersible SS 304 material Water pumps were another key area of attention. Pumps provide the hydraulic power needed to create the fountain’s water movements, and their suitability must be considered alongside the selected nozzles and operating requirements. The visit allowed the client and the factory team to review the supplied equipment and discuss its role within the fountain system.

The DMX 512 RGB lighting equipment was also examined closely. Lighting gives the fountain its nighttime color and helps connect individual water effects into a coordinated visual performance. Attention to the quality and workmanship of these fixtures forms an essential part of preparing the equipment for a riverfront installation.

In addition to individual components, Dr. Fadhil reviewed the workmanship of the fountain pipework. Pipe fabrication is an important part of fountain manufacturing because it connects the pumping equipment with the water effects and supports the overall equipment layout.

The inspection covered pipework quality and fabrication details, with attention to the workmanship of connections and the arrangement of the supplied assemblies. This review helped the client assess the manufacturing work behind the finished fountain equipment.

Product packaging was another important part of the visit. Overseas fountain projects involve several stages of handling, transportation, and site delivery. Packaging must therefore be considered as part of project preparation, alongside equipment production.

Dr. Fadhil inspected the packaging of the fountain products, reviewing how the equipment was being prepared for transportation. Appropriate protection and organized packing help support the movement of equipment from the factory to the project site.

For a project of this scale, packaging also contributes to practical site coordination. Well-organized shipments can help installation teams identify equipment and manage unpacking and assembly more efficiently. The client’s review reinforced the importance of considering delivery requirements throughout the manufacturing process.

Control cabinet testing formed a further focus of the inspection. The control system coordinates the operation of the fountain equipment and plays a central role in bringing water, lighting, and music together.

During the visit, Dr. Fadhil reviewed control cabinet testing with the Optimum Show team. This provided an opportunity to observe the testing work, discuss relevant technical details, and build a clearer understanding of the control equipment prepared for the project.

Factory testing is an important stage in checking system functions before equipment reaches the installation site. It also supports communication between the manufacturer and the client, allowing questions to be addressed while the equipment and technical team are available together.

The visit additionally supported work related to TÜV certification. Dr. Fadhil and the Optimum Show team coordinated on the relevant requirements and preparations. This cooperation formed part of the wider quality review process for the project.

Throughout the visit, the central priority was consistent: quality must be considered at every stage of delivery. From nozzle workmanship and pipe fabrication to electrical controls and packaging, each element contributes to the reliability and presentation of the final fountain.

Optimum Show follows a quality-first approach, with the aim of giving clients dependable equipment and confidence in the manufacturing process. Direct factory inspections are a valuable part of that commitment because they allow clients to see the work firsthand and discuss their expectations with the people responsible for production.

The Hilla Corniche Project also draws on Optimum Show’s international fountain engineering experience. The company has served clients in more than 80 countries and delivered over 5,000 projects, providing integrated services covering design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.

This experience includes major overseas landmark projects such as the 300-meter Baghdad Island Fountain in Iraq, the 300-meter musical fountain at Riyadh Boulevard City for Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia, and fountain projects for the Sheikh Zayed Festival in the United Arab Emirates.

These projects demonstrate the breadth of settings in which Optimum Show works, from urban waterfronts and entertainment destinations to major cultural events. They also reinforce the importance of coordinating creative design with manufacturing capability and on-site technical execution.

For the Hilla Corniche Project, that integrated approach supports continuity between the planned fountain effects, the equipment produced in the factory, and the work required at the project site.

Dr. Fadhil’s inspection was an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation and review the equipment being prepared for this new riverfront attraction. Optimum Show appreciates the client’s careful attention to quality and the constructive communication throughout the visit.

As the project moves toward its subsequent delivery stages, Optimum Show will continue to support the Hilla Corniche vision through coordinated engineering and project services. The goal is to help create an attractive musical fountain that adds character to the waterfront and contributes to a new public leisure space for the city.
